A safari to the waterfalls of Vefsna

Vefsna, the fourth-largest river in Norway, is one of the country’s best trout and salmon rivers. It was reopened for fishing in 2017. As recently as 50 years ago, there was extensive log-driving to the sawmills downstream.

Along the 160 km river, there are many striking rapids and waterfalls. Join us for a visit to the three most impressive falls: Laksforsen (photo Margrethe Jønsson), Forsjordio (photo Margrethe Jønsson) and Storforsen (photo Bjørnar Pedersen).

The price includes:

2 nights at Fru Haugans Hotel

Lunch at Laksforsen Restaurant, with its Nature & Culture Gallery
