A cave adventure in Øyfjellet

Øyfjellgrotta is a 500-metre limestone cave in the mountain adjacent to Mosjøen. Exploring this cave is not particularly demanding – but with some narrow passages and places that require crawling, it’s challenging enough to give you a flavour of the sport called spelunking! There is even an underground river (dry in the summer). From the parking lot, a short steep walk takes you to the cave entrance.

 The experienced guides of our adventure partner, Naturlige Helgeland, is eager to show you the cave. All participants are provided with a helmet and headlight, overalls and gloves.

 Duration: approx. 3 hours
